U.S. academic Minh-Ha T. Pham has put together “an alternative archive of the not-quite-hidden but too often ignored fashion histories of U.S. women of color’, as a reaction against fashion exhibitions that concentrate solely on the fashions of wealthy white women.  Explore some of the photos on Of Another Fashion, such as the photo of 1950s model L’Tanya Griffin or women wearing Easter bonnets in Harlem in 1965.
