Greenlit: Royal Upstairs Downstairs, BBC2

    Royal Upstairs Downstairs w/t (20×45′ ) – Tim Wonnacott (Bargain Hunt) and Rosemary Shrager (School For Cooks) explore the stately homes and castles visited by Queen Victoria, such as Chatsworth House and Woburn Abbey. Wonnacott tells Queen Victoria’s story, drawing on her diaries and the ‘upstairs’ life she would have led. Shrager goes ‘downstairs’ to explore the preparations made by staff before each visit, whilst recreating a food that Victoria would have eaten.
