New Strand: ID Films, Investigation Discovery
US cable network Investigation Discovery (ID) is launching a new documentary strand for independent documentary in August 2010. The new strand is called ID Films and will transmit documentaries that investigate and explore US crime and punishment. For example:
- Cropsey - doc that examines the case of five missing children in Staten Island – a case that remains unsolved.
- Final Judgement- doc that looks at how the media reports and influences the criminal justice system.
