  • He is keen on advertiser funded programmes (AFP) such as Crufts, which is sponsored by DFS – and is looking to get more ad-funding attached to existing programmes (although advertisers are generally poor at coming up with good TV programmes themeselves).
  • More 4 – is moving back into more original commissions, such as Bettany Hughes’ Ancient World, a 7×60′ mix of new and reversioned programmes.
  • True Stories - an international doc strand on More 4 has enjoyed excellent ratings. His ambition is to show the world’s best documentaries in this slot, but they often put in £40K or less to the production budget, or jus acquire finished films rather than fully funding the docs.
Programmes that work on Channel 4:
Looking For:
  • Factual entertainment programmes to fill the big entertainment gap left by the cancellation of Big Brother – they have slots to fill and money to spend on new programming.
