The recession has brought a drop in rank for many pilots and a move away from their families to stay in work, so living in a motor home is a way to survive and conserve their money. Residents are now screened after a period when outsiders moved in bringing with them garden gnomes and BBQs; prostitutes also arrived to try their luck, they’ve now been chased out.
