Do Lectures – If you feel like you need some inspiration to get off your arras and do something head down to Cardigan Bay in West Wales on 3rd September for five days of inspirational talks in a woodland setting. Well, actually you can’t because you have to apply in advance and go into a lottery. However, the good folks at Do will be recording all the talks and uploading them to their site, for all the world to see.
Speakers will deliver lectures on clever clothes (Ben Hammersley, Deputy editor of WIRED UK), being Everest’s dustman (Paul Deegan, mountaineer) and founding the best school in the world (Uffe Elbæk, former principal of KaosPilots), among other things.
