If a group of anti-hunters sat down and tried to come up with a TV show that painted hunters in the worst possible light they could imagine, they could not in their wildest dreams come up with anything that makes hunters look worse than this show. Marcus is living proof that even a war hero can still be a classless jerk. Parents know to guard their kids from adult language on channels like HBO. But I don’t not expect my child to be subjected to the F word (bleeped but easily recognizable) 14 times on a hunting show that airs on the Outdoor Channel in the daytime. Not to mention the drunken redneck yahoo goober behavior displayed on the show. Shame on the outdoor channel for airing this. And shame on Beretta for sponsoring it.

Marcus is a hero ,,, and a class A Jerk,,,, I wouldn’t hunt with him and I won’t watch the show anymore while he is on.

Wild and Raw? You’ve got to be kidding! The 777 ranch is a toy store for wannabe hunters and “outdoor” film makers. No amount of music or camo will make it anything but a zoo configuration with domesticated animals. There are some unbelievable game animals (like the big elk they chased all over the 100 acre paddock), but don’t think there is any fair chase involved in the shooting of their big game animals. Berreta needs to re-think their sponsorship of these guys and whether they really want to ever return to the 777 ranch.

I am also quite confident that more than a few of you have engaged in a ” water cooler ” unfriendly conversation before… sometime in your lives. The only difference is that it wasn’t on TV and there wasn’t another family around the corner that walked into the middle of your conversation (hopefully).

It is not his responsibility to keep your kids away from mature grown up stuff… although he is responsible… some responsibilities have to delivered and managed by the folks that are bound to it. Yall are the ones that got your wife pregnant and had and offspring… its your responsibility to make sure your kid grows up with the certain values you hold on to. He can not do that for you and would be unfair… because he did not get your wives pregnant and father your kids for you.

Just be responsible and to the research FIRST before you okay your kid to watch a certain program. Don’t assume. Assumption is a distant relative to gambling and has little protective value overall.

Marcus is a great man… mostly machine but he is still human. I haven’t seen the show… just clips of it on youtube. The show is marketed towards adults that have the maturity to make decisions on their own… not for kids to watch. He has more potential to be a role model… but it would be within God’s time constraints… not yours or mine.

He fought for his country and was deprived of living a ” normal ” life like what we live on a daily basis for a long time. He does have morals and ethics… he wouldn’t fought for our nation to protect what we hold important if he didn’t. Your kids should be watching kids’ shows… not grown up stuff.

I predict this show will be short lived. If Outdoor Channel continues on this path of raunchy programming, only bad things will follow. It surprises me that they would have any chance of being allows to air such unsportsman like garbage.

Raw is right. How about unprofessionnal????? As a public school administrator, former hunter ed instructor, husband, father and grandparent, I am apalled at the this program. I watched the host and his buddies drinking on the clay pigeon practice range. Then went to the club to party and even made comment about the girls a$$ even said take a picture of that! Then slapped her a$$. Hey I am not a prude, I too like pretty girls and partying, but not good for national television. At a time were family values are being challenged. I personally would like to see more positive hunting and fishing programs associated with families and good friends being outdoors. Stick to quality outdoors and family values for good ratings. Marcus is a little to intense to be on tv. I couldn’t let my 8 year old watch your show because there was very little sportsmanship displayed. Too much bleeping out words.
