Greenlit: Red Summer, Sundance

Red Summer (6x ) – documentary series about an isolated Alaskan village and the events that take place over the course of a commercial salmon season when the village’s population explodes. The series is based on a book – Red Summer: The Danger, Madness, and Exaltation of Salmon Fishing in a Remote Alaskan Village by Bill Carter (who also wrote Desperate Networks).

  1. this is not the same bill carter who wrote desperate networks. It is the bill carter who wrote Fools Rush In and Red Summer. He is the director of Miss Sarajevo and directing this series, with jordan roberts and nanette berstein exec. producing.
