  1. We we on the set yesterday. The Disaster House Team had our company come to clean the ventilation system after they blew up a HUGE sand castle that was in the home. There were so many cool disasters that they have done to this home… this show is going to be great entertainment! Josh and crew were a lot of fun to work with.

  3. Crazy! Instead of tearing up a perfectly good house over and over – how bout travel to folks homes who have damages and fix those? Then, materials & effort won’t be swindled needlessly!!

  4. I am writing about the basement flooding. I am appauled that you wasted that amount of water. I wish I could have had that much to water my garden this summer. This is one show I will never watch again. I hope you are having fun destroying buildings, when there are so many families homeless.

  5. For Jeninifer, the house was actually scheduled for demolition, as far as Im concered no wasted effort…to annie, wated water(?) we are above our reservoir levels this year(see http://www.denverwater.org/SupplyPlanning/WaterSupply/ReservoirLevels/)
so if you dont like dont watch, and as the house was scheduled for demo no one could have lived in it anyway.

  6. Why create an artificial situation when there are hundreds of houses damaged by real disasters? Please see our story posted at http://katrinasos.wordpress.com/. Any help or donations would be greatly appreciated.

  7. How “Green” can this be on a network that supposedly is ecologically minded? Tear up a piano and a house by dropping it thru the roof just to show how to repair a roof? huh.. Ok well then we’ll just demolish a vehicle by crashing it thru the front window wall of a house so we can show how to repair that? uh . . wait . . let me think . . .

  8. Great show , great crew, watch and enjoy. FYI there are more issues with repairing actual home disasters(insurance claims, zoning issues etc) and who said it was “green”? If you like the show watch it for what it is, entertainment with some educational value, if you don’t like it don’t watch, quit complaining about it and focus your energy on something more important…
