Global Lives Project

Global Lives is a global film-making project that aims to record the lives of ten people representative of the world’s population. Designers, architects, activists and institutions such as the Museum of the Person, Sao Paulo, Brazil and Temple University, Japan are looking for ten people who meet their age, gender, geographical, religious, age and income criteria.

James Bullock is a 57-year-old cable car driver from San Francisco, and Isreal Felciciano is a hip-hop star from Sao Paulo were the first two people to be filmed over 24 hours and chosen for the project. Rushes filmed by volunteers will be available for use under a Creative Commons Licence.

The ten films showing the ten featured people will be shown in-the-round in a travelling exhibition space.
