In: Tracey Lentz, VP Unscripted Programming, AMC

Tracey Lentz has joined AMC Network as VP of unscripted programming. Lentz, who will be based in LA, is an experienced programming executive who will focus on developing compelling unscripted series that resonate with AMC viewers and live alongside the network’s original scripted series and classic films. She will report to Eliot Goldberg, the network’s senior vice president of unscripted programming.

Lentz joins AMC from 3Ball Productions/Eyeworks USA, where she was VP of development. She previously held creative positions at Current TV, ABC Media Productions, TLC, GSN/Game Show Network and Showtime Networks.

In her new role, Lentz will manage LA-based AMC executives Andrea Beckerman, the network’s director of unscripted programming and Joshua Miller, manager of unscripted programming.

At Eyeworks, Lentz was instrumental in the development and sale of shows including Celebrity Splash (ABC), Catch a Contractor (Spike), Hungry Investors (Spike), My Big Fat Revenge (Oxygen), Funniest Wins (TBS), Remote Survivor (Nat Geo) and Opposite Worlds (Syfy). As a network executive, she helped manage American Chopper and the re-launch of Trading Spaces with Paige Davis, Penn & Teller: Bullshit!, Huff and The L Word.
