Shoplife w/t (6 x 60′) – Fact ent series following a group of young people who work in the North East’s MetroCentre, the largest shopping mall in the UK.
In this ambitious new series, meet retail’s liveliest workforce who dream big, work hard, and play hard, as they take their first tentative steps in the adult world. Aged between 18-25, the young retail assistants are brought together through the production of the series, building a new mall community and giving a soap opera edge to the programme.
The series gives a thought-provoking reflection of real youth life in 2013. Laugh and cry with them as they learn to handle adult life, and its many curve balls. Watch as they build and break relationships with each other, and try to put their own unique stamp on the world in the face of adversity.
