Greenlit: My £9.50 Holiday, BBC1

My £9.50 Holiday  (1 x 40′) –  This  show gets to grips with the growing phenomenon of the newspaper voucher holiday, and the British families from all walks of life and all over the country who are taking advantage of these super-low cost breaks.  As consumers look for ways to adapt to the recession, the film joins families who have paid just £9.50 to holiday at home in caravan parks across the country.  This witty and charming observational documentary delivers a first-hand view of the voucher break experience – from the highs to the lows – as well as filming with key staff members at the caravan parks to understand the day-to-day business behind one of Britain’s fastest growing holiday sectors.
