Sheffield Doc/Fest Sessions on iTunes and YouTube

Sheffield Doc/Fest has launched a weekly podcast series iTunes and sessions from the 2012 festival are available to watch on the Sheffield Doc/Fest YouTube channel, which to date features 149 sessions, including an impressive line-up of interviews and masterclasses.

Each week, Doc/Fest will make a new session podcast available to download, drawing from a spectacular back catalogue dating to 2004. Sessions include:

  • Crossover Summit Keynote: Steven Johnson
  • Ross Kemp: On the Front Line
  • The BBC Interview: Richard Klein
  • Lee Kern Masterclass on How to be a TV Whore
  • Distribution: That Old Chestnut
  • Access All Areas – but where do you draw the line?
  • The Making of Joy Division
  • Bypassing the Broadcaster
  • Planet Earth: A HD Masterclass
  • Nick Broomfield Masterclass
  • The Art Of The Science Documentary
  • Louis Theroux: Changing face of factual and presenter led programming

On the YouTube channel, included among the 21 sessions from the 2012 Doc/Fest are:

  • Fund Your Doc, but at What Price? with Claire Fox (Institue of Ideas), Jennifer Merin (About.com), Nick Fraser (BBC), Mette Hoffman Meyer (DR TV) and Alex Connock (Shine TV)
  • Occupy Wall Street with Tim Pool (TimcastTV); Emily Bell (Columbia University School of Journalism) and David Alamouti (Insight and Contra Image)
  • ITV in Conversation with Michael Apted.
