Greenlit: Double Your House for Half the Money, Channel 4

Double Your House for Half the Money (6 x 60′) -  A brand new property series fronted by Sarah Beeny which will show viewers how to make the most of the property they already own – at a fraction of the cost of buying the house of their dreams.

Property expert Sarah Beeny is on a mission to help people work with what they’ve already got by extending every which way, using and adding onto the space they already have, while re-configuring their interior space. Along the way, they will also be creating as much equity in their homes as possible.

In each episode, Sarah will meet and advise one family bursting at the seams who cannot afford to move and decides to radically transform their existing home. Whether it’s building up, out, down or around, the challenge is to increase the size of their property by up to 100%, and so create their perfect home at a fraction of the cost.

Can Sarah’s expertise and no-nonsense advice really help families double their house for half the money?
