Lisa Levenson has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Programming at Cineflix Media. She will oversee a new Los Angeles office and is charged with generating business for new and returning reality series. Levenson, whose executive producer credits include The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, will report to Simon Lloyd, CEO of Programming for Cineflix Media.
Cineflix produces more than 400 hours per year of programming for international broadcasters, including such hits as American Pickers, Property Brothers, Mayday, Conviction Kitchen, and the award-winning Nazi Hunters. Cineflix also maintains production offices in Toronto, New York, Vancouver, and London.
Previously, Levenson had a multi-year, overall deal with Next Entertainment during which time she executive produced fourteen cycles of the hit series The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. She also executive produced High School Reunion, The Real Gilligan’s Island and Trista and Ryan’s Wedding. She joins Cineflix from Warner Horizon Television where she held an overall production and development deal.
Levenson began her career in television on The Jerry Springer Show, contributing to its unprecedented success. She went on to produce the long-running daytime drama General Hospital, for which she received two Daytime Emmy® Awards. Levenson also served as a supervising producer on Big Brother helping to reshape the show during its second season.
