Greenlit: Perspectives, ITV1

Perspectives (5×60′) – A new contemporary documentary strand commissioned by ITV1, dedicated to authored documentaries. The first run includes:

  • Mugged w/t  – Personal testimony interwoven with CCTV footage and police actuality that explores stories behind the crime statistics. (Brian Hill/Century Films)
  • The Fisherman’s Friends w/t – How a group of fisherman who struck gold with a million-pound record contract, and book and film deals. (Twofour)
  • Robson Green and the Pitmen Painters w/t – Actor Robson Green tells the story of a group of 1930s coal miners who set up an art appreciation class. (Jon Blair Film Company/Wild Pictures)
  • Children of Britain w/t – Antony Thomas breaks away from negative media stereotypes to look at the lives of British children(Mentorn Media)
  • Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Pre-Raphaelites w/t – A documentary that reveals Andrew Lloyd Webber’s passion for Pre-Raphaelite paintings  (ITV Studios)
