The Secret Michelangelo?

Everett Fahy, an expert in the Italian Renaissance, and ex-John Pope-Hennessy Chairman of European Paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, NYC, believes that the painting Saint John the Baptist Bearing Witness is not actually the work of Francesco Granacci’s studio, but of his friend Michelangelo. He points to various clues to Michelangelo’s involvement – the imagery and underdrawings, as well as his lifestory – but other experts aren’t easily convinced.
