Robert Butler writes in his latest article for More Intelligent Life.com that geography is the new history and it is now the sexiest department on campus. This is all down to climate change, he argues. As atlases change their maps to take into account cities at risk of flooding, C02 emmissions and population growth they are “beginning to look like a long-term forecast—history before it happens.” Step aside Ferguson and Starkey, step forward….?
