  1. Hello Judith,

I am a dutch guy by the way…, so apoligise my english..

I was.., ..what an unbelievable ruthlesness of these men.. I was very upset…

I don’t know how this cruel culture became as it is. But how can a population think they have a future as a whole, while abusing the female part of their people in this way.. Several (female) generations will be lost in future when we ignore these problems..

Looking at the last scene wher the man refused the wife to live with him again tells me that the aproach of women trying to regain goodwill of these men is not the right way.. What eastern Congo’s women mainly need is something as best described as “girl power”..

An independent force of women who gain power in their region. Not in a agressiv kind of way, but in a way that men can and will feel the role of independent women. Weather they like it or not.. They have to be aware of the failure of their social roles.

Supporting that strengthening of the women as a driving force from western institutions would be a fullfilling effort for you as a person.. ..You hadn’t the aproach of a journalist.. From yor background you are very envolved..

So as a personal goal.. Don’t forget to remind institutions and very important neither forget corporations and convince them how important strong and intellectual females could be for the social an economical future of this very important country with huge recources.. Try to find the female leaders in Congo too..

It’s good that the world becomes aware..
