John McCalmont who is the host for this show is a fresh face and personality to the tv show host business. He is himself always and gives everything he has to the audience without making the show about him. I can’t wait for the first episode!!!

Isn’t he the host of Bass Champs on WFN and Outdoor Channel??? If it is to cool! He is an awesome guy, donated a fishing trip to my church for a charity and i won it, spent the day fishing with him and had the time of my life! He would be an asset to the History Channel

Can’t wait to see how this all turns out…everybody was great to work with and fun to be around…

John is a cool dude. I’ve had the chance to work with him on a few occasions and enjoyed the hell out of it. Sliced is going to seriously kick ass so make sure to check it out!

Worst show ever. A show for Rednecks.

This show is retarded, and so is everything that comes out of the hosts mouth, i honestly couldnt get any more corny if i tried.

Retarded? Rednecks? Let the guys with little tools be the first to flip out. Honestly girls, isn’t this the man you really want? Loved the show. Loved they guy. He is HOT!

I suspect this is a “mock” reality show. I think Christopher Guest is behind this. The concept is so absurd, the results so useless, yet so over-sold. The host is a characature of reality show hosts. All the camera-mugging, over-acting, psuedo-serious “mission” interviews. Its a superhero/rockstar fantasy, without actually being talented at anything.

This show looked like it was going to be cool it’s… NOT! the guy is fucking annoying, and like jeff O said “the results are so useless”. what a waste of pefectly good items. just cut in half old things and shut the fuck up.

What the hell are they doing on this show besides ruining stuff, I just watched this idiot rip apart a magna-doodle, Even my six year old knows how one of those works, and Modern Marvels already explained a Etch A Sketch without ruining one. This guy and this show are dumb as hell! Oh and not every item he cuts up works the way he says.. example pay pool tables, the cue ball isn’t always magnetic, some models the cue ball goes into its own return because it is slightly larger. See the Spike networks “1000 ways to die” show where a guy choked on a cue ball. He swallowed an eight ball and coughed it up but the cue ball was just a little bigger and when he tried to swallow it the ball got stuck and killed him.

Sliced host is retarded and annoying.If you are going to slice things apart to show how they work. Do it with precision.Just hacking something in half is useless.

Ummm…I am disgusted that he is slicing a car. A poor family could use that car! It makes me outraged!
