Greenlit: Operation Salvage, DIY Network

Operation Salvage -  Matt White and members of his family-owned salvage business use wrecking balls, hammers and cranes to tear down derelict buildings, all the while looking for valuable architectural treasures like claw-foot bathtubs, walnut doors, antique tiles, 19thC porticos and Victorian mantles.  When there’s nothing valuable to be salvaged, they turn the raw materials into new decorative objects.

  1. ran across these guys while filming an episode. Looks like the show should be interesting. these guys do a lot of amazing things with what appears to be…… junk.

  2. I saw the show for the first time the other day. I really enjoy what you guys do and i am very interested in learning more. I grew up in mount holly New Jersey, so you are not for from my youth. I live in California these days but your show might have inspired me to head back to the history of the east coast. I am a ceramic artist but i love the work you guys do and really enjoy being creative with found material.

  4. Watched your show today on DIY. Loved it. I grew up in Belmar. Very interesting to see that school from Ocean Grove coming down. Missed the name of the school tho. Hope to see more of your shows. I wish you all the best!
