Storytron Storyworld
Storytron – developed by game designer , Chris Crawford and science fiction writer Laura J. Mixon – is an interactive approach to online storytelling. It consists of a free authoring tool that you can use to script a story using actors, stages and props. Players interact with the online ‘actors’ who act independently, pursuing their own goals as well as reacting directly to you.
It’s still in beta, and the explanation is pretty impenetrable at the moment, but might be worth you exploring if you are developing multiplatform content. The best place to start is the FAQ, which explains how Storytron differs from The Sims, Second Life, computer games and interactive fiction.
