Graffiti for God

South London church groups are engaging young people by encouraging them to use graffiti to spread the word of God. At a recent youth day, teens were invited paint four panels to hang on the walls of 12th century Lambeth Palace. Supervising artist Susan Hicks previously worked with a group of disaffected kids near Preston, on a lottery-funded project to graffiti a skate park and saw the kids grow in confidence and to start to take pride in their environment.
