A presenter goes on a physical journey to discover something about the world. As they learn, so does the audience.

The presenter isn’t an expert in the subject they’re investigating, and approach it from an ‘everyman’ perspective (they usually are men).

The presenter doesn’t tell us about their subject – they live it.
